Dolphin Laundry Services is a Chicago-based company focused on commercial laundry. Dolphin Laundry Services business units include coin and card operated laundry facilities, industrial and residential laundry services, and distribution of Maytag commercial laundry equipment throughout northern Illinois and northwest Indiana.
Dolphin Laundry Services is looking for talented and motivated Field Service Technicians to support business growth in the industrial and coin operated laundry segments.
Position Overview:
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance, returning non-functioning washers and dryers to working condition, identifying when machinery must be replaced, and assisting in new equipment installations. This position also requires an ability to interact with Dolphin’s internal computer systems and effectively communicate with outside clients. Dolphin provides a formal training program to all newly hired laundry repair technicians, as well as supplements with courses provided by outside service schools. Field Service Technicians also participate in two weeks of factory training per year.
Applicant Requirements:
High school degree and clean driving record required.
Strong electrical and mechanical background required.
Must be computer proficient.
Must possess excellent communication and listening skills, a likeable personality, a high degree of organization, and an impeccable work ethic.
Previous experience repairing and servicing washers, dryers, and other laundry related equipment is preferred, but not required.
Bi-lingual preferred.
Compensation:
Hourly, based on experience
